Tarot for the End of Times

How do we commune with metaphysical archetypes and glean wisdom from ancestors of the collective during times of deep change? This podcast explores this question through the lens of the Major arcana cards of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck.

Tarot for the End of Times is a podcast that approaches tarot and divination through the lens of Black queer feminist spiritualities, mindfulness, and community care. Inspired by the late sci-fi author Octavia Butler’s prescient works of visionary fiction, this series is influenced by the legacies and teachings of radical and historically marginalized spiritual teachers, philosophers, artists, cultural workers, political agitators and organizers, oracles, healers, and spiritual care practitioners to facilitate emergent conversations on the uses of tarot as a tool and strategy for collective liberation. Originally conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic as a public experiment in community care, Tarot for the End of Times lives on as an open resource for those seeking spiritual care during seasons of dynamic change. Named as one of Spotify’s top 5% most globally shared podcasts in 2022, this work continues to touch the lives of new and seasoned practitioners across the world.

Make a donation.

As an independent artist and cultural worker, the public resources that I offer are sustained by the generous support of listeners. Each donation directly supports the work and the person behind the labor (me).

So long as it remains feasible, I am committed to keeping these episodes publicly available. This is primarily so that socio-economically oppressed Black, Brown, Indigenous and PoC communities can access this body of work for their/our spiritual fortification while navigating a White Supremacist capitalist cis-hetero patriarchal world. As such, I encourage White listeners to consume and engage with this work through the ethics of reciprocity. There are many ways to do this, but redistributing economic resources via donation is a concrete, directly impactful place to begin. These acts of economic solidarity are deeply felt allow me to maintain this as a free and public resource for those most impacted by compounding systems of injustice.

Thank you for your support as we continue to strive towards solidarity and liberation for all!
